How to use the Fancy Text Generator
- Type or paste your text into the box.
- All the styles update instantly below it.
- Press Copy next to the style you like and paste it into your bio, post, message or document.
How it works
These styles are not special fonts. They are real characters from the Unicode standard, such as the “Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols” block, that happen to look like bold, script or gothic letters. Because they are ordinary text characters, you can paste them into any app that supports Unicode. Each English letter is swapped for the matching look-alike character.
Examples
“Hello 123” in bold becomes πππ₯π₯π¨ πππ.
“Hello” in double-struck becomes βππππ .
Tips for using fancy text
- Use it for short pieces such as a bio, a heading or a name, and keep most text in plain letters so it stays easy to read.
- Preview it before you publish. Look at it on a phone as well as a computer.
- Mix styles sparingly. One or two styles in a line look neat, while many styles look messy.
- Keep an unstyled copy of important text in case a platform shows boxes instead of letters.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I use fancy text?
In most apps that accept Unicode text, such as social media bios and posts, chat messages, and documents. Some websites limit which characters usernames can contain, so a style may be rejected in a username field.
Why do some letters show as empty boxes?
The device or app you paste into may not have a font that includes those characters. Try another style, or check on another device.
Does it work for Marathi, Hindi or other languages?
No. Only English letters (A to Z) and the numbers 0 to 9 are converted. Characters in other scripts are left unchanged.
Is fancy text accessible?
Not fully. Screen readers often cannot read these characters properly. If your audience may use assistive technology, keep important text in plain letters.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. The text is converted in your browser and is not sent to a server.
Is fancy text the same as changing the font?
No. A font changes how normal letters are drawn. Fancy text swaps the letters for different Unicode characters that look styled, which is why it can be pasted into places that do not allow font changes.
Can I use fancy text in a username or password?
Some sites allow it in usernames and some reject it. Do not use it in passwords, because you may not be able to type the same characters later on another device.
